With a focus on local South Dakota news, I write timely stories featuring sound bites from phone interviews of those pertaining to the piece. I voice and produce all of my own stories posted online.

Final Newswriting Assignment

As a final project for a Basic Newswriting class, I wrote a story about the Bernie Sanders presidential campaign. The story featured interviews with mainly college students and is backed up with political research.

As an opinion columnist for the University of South Dakota's independent newspaper the Volante, I featured a piece of every week, focusing on a wide array of topics pertinent to current events and trends.
